LMPG is dedicated to building a network of well-equipped churches capable of identifying, reaching, and empowering those most vulnerable in their communities. Through Church Partnerships and the Let My People Go Experience, Let My People Go trains and resources the local church to fight human trafficking by loving those most vulnerable.
While any church can begin a ministry to the vulnerable, few ministries endure over time. For this reason, the Let My People Go Network paces with each church as they aim to empower their entire congregation to care for those hurting in their respective communities. Through an emphasis on innovation and collaboration, LMPG is able to maximize each local church’s impact, while encouraging their resiliency. Essentially, this approach makes the local church the forward operating base, connecting those most vulnerable to the help that they need both physically and spiritually.
1. Church Partnerships
The Let My People Go network is dedicated to assisting the local church in discovering the unique mission to which God has called it. Through innovative, on the ground training, LMPG equips churches to love those most vulnerable to exploitation. Practically, this "love" is evidenced throughout the congregation as the church: Identifies, empowers, protects, and includes those who traffickers would normally target.
2. Let My People Go Experience
Six month to One Year Apprenticeships
This is best for recent college graduates who desire to fight human trafficking through the local church. Each apprentice will be given the tools needed to equip and empower a local congregation to serve those most vulnerable in NYC and in their hometowns.
Short-term Mission Experiences
This is best for churches and universities to learn about the nature of human trafficking and return home with concrete, Gospel-centered ways to fight it. To learn more, watch the video below.
