Justice Weekend

Justice Weekend

from $250.00

Human trafficking is a global problem. There are currently more than 40 million people who are being trafficked for labor, sex, and money. This global problem can seem like too much for any local church to address. We at Let My People Go agree. That is why we are committed to empowering a network of churches to see and serve the vulnerable in their communities.

To help facilitate this, we have a new initiative that we would like to offer to you as a tool. This new initiative is our Justice Weekend.

Justice Weekend is a 2-3 day seminar session of intensive teaching and equipping by Raleigh Sadler, the Executive Director of the Let My People Go Network. In addition, your attendees receive access to other materials that help equip your congregation to better fight against the evil of human trafficking. From video resources to written materials, it is our hope that you are able to recognize your own place in this fight and move from that place towards serving the vulnerable in your community.

The session cost is $3000, not including travel/lodging for Raleigh Sadler.

Some of the topics and questions addressed will include:

  • How do we serve those who have been traumatized without re-traumatizing?

  • What does it mean to recognize our own vulnerability?

  • Why do we need a congregational and communal approach to compassion?

  • What are common myths and misconceptions about human trafficking?

If these are topics which you think would be useful for your congregation, please reach out to Let My People Go at info@lmpgnetwork.org so that we can plan a time for Raleigh to come and help your congregation.
